Reclaiming Echoes
By Abdul Aziz
In the heart of Little Africa, the echoes of the past persist,
Where ancestors’ spirits linger, their wisdom ever-present.
Their footsteps marked the hallowed ground, their essence lingers near,
A network of love and strength, connecting us through the years.
These souls of a time gone by, their stories carved into the fabric of history,
A legacy that refuses to fade, their journey becoming our lifeline.
Through the struggles and the hardships, they shaped a path illuminated,
The cosmos bearing witness to their unwavering determination.
Their voices in the wind, a subtle but guiding force,
Resilience and courage, the quintessence of their discourse.
We tread upon the trails they sculpted, following their footsteps with reverence,
The wisdom of our ancestors, a compass for our perseverance.
For every tear shed and every laugh shared, their spirits are forever entwined,
A tapestry of memories, a heritage that’s been refined.
In the depths of Little Africa, our ancestors reside,
Their love and their strength unyielding, as they continue to be our guide.
