[Pittsburgh, PA, January 20, 2026] – ALMA | LEWIS is pleased to announce the schedule for The Black Archive Series Winter 2026, a speaker series centering artists, writers, and scholars whose work engages Black culture, memory, and creativity. Our inaugural series will feature cultural worker, poet, and author Lissette Norman; professor, author, and literary advocate Tahirah J. Walker, Ph.D.; and multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker Shikeith. Their conversations will be guided by creative, writer, and educator Kleaver Cruz; community mental health educator and advocate Courtney Abegunde; and artist Pierre London Williams.This inaugural winter speaker series pairs material culture from The Black Archive with talks by scholars, writers, and artists. These gatherings invite thoughtful conversation, collective learning, and community rooted in care. Each event is free and open to the public with RSVP.
