ALMA | LEWIS Community Day
Community Day, Saturday, October 24th, from 2-5pm
Community Day will feature:
Inaugural fellows occupying the studio spaces including writer, scholar, and interdisciplinary artist Sharbreon Plummer, Ph.D., and visual artist and sculptor Layo Bright, whose work explores themes of migration, agency, and identity.
The expanded gallery will open with the first survey of Chicago-based artist Cecil McDonald, Jr. whose photography and time-based work reflects on Black domestic life, masculinity, and performance.
